Forever curious

I studied design in Switzerland, lived in India and at the moment I’m working with FLYR in Amsterdam to bring AI to the travel industry.

I invented the title Incentive Designer to capture what I do.

I’m fascinated by complex systems and how incentives govern their behaviours.

Incentive designer (noun):

A person that analyses, designs and implements incentive systems in areas such as business, psychology, or public policy.

Incentive designers possess analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and must have a deep understanding of human behavior and motivation.

Incentives must be carefully weighed to encourage the desired behavior while avoiding unintended consequences.

Complex Systems

Complex systems are made up of many interacting components that exhibit collective behavior, often characterized by emergent properties that cannot be predicted from the behavior of individual components alone.

These systems are often nonlinear, meaning that small changes in one component can have large effects on the overall behavior of the system.

Examples of complex systems include ecosystems, financial markets, social networks, and the human society.

Hear from others about how I work and what I do

Andras Kapros
Aleksandar is an effective communicator and extremely good at creating new relationships by connecting quickly with others.

I’m always surprised by the quality and variety of solutions he comes up with. He is someone who thinks out-of-the-box and strives to create the best experience for everyone involved! Aleks is forward-thinking, open to criticism and all kinds of discussions.

Stijn Van Willigen — Weekmeals
To this day we still almost daily get compliments from users about the simplicity and ease-of-use of the Weekplanner Aleks designed.

He is that rare out-of-the-box thinker that is not afraid to shine a light on corners of a product unseen (and untold) by others. His keen eye for detail is not just apparent from his design work, but easily detected in all aspects of his life, including dealing with people, which makes working with him a great experience.
