My favourite Logos from the last decade
While I’ve worked on dozens of other logos and brandguides over the years, not all of them are something to show off. These few logos I’m still proud of even after many years have passed. If we are being strict, these logos are mostly wordmarks, but they also feature custom typography and iconography that expand across the brand and increase the recognizability further.
A logo for Wallets, inspired by their shape
Modern, Geometric and with Custom Letters
Based on the Gordita base characters with added modifications to the j, k and e. The k was changed to feature the angle brackets from coding. The j was customized to play off this change and gets a unique character by extending the lines and movement. Click here to see the full branding and unique application of the logo.
Bold Colours, Handdrawn Font
A Logo for a hairdresser in my hometown. The typography was handdrawn and is inspired by scissors. The outer corners are rounded while the inner ones are sharp enough to cut you.
Originally the shop was called Pasha but because of a trademark dispute it had to be changed to Ciwan. Customers kept coming and didn’t notice the change in naming for months, a huge success in my opinion as the designer.
Slanted to the future
Filming with Drones — As a Service
A swiss company specializing in flying drones for music videos, advertising or feature films. Set in a sober Helvetica and made more interesting through implied movement of the drone.
The movement of the drone connects the letters of “Netzwerk/Network” into one unit and divides the logo into two parts which allows you to read the long name faster.
