«All I could think about for days was how nice it was to see everyone again»

Its the year 2020 in Amsterdam. We’ve had a year of lockdowns and barely made progress in stopping the spread. Pulling out all the stops we even instituted a strict curfew at 8pm during the whole winter. An unusually strong winter at that too.

Cut to February 2021, the winter, snow and ice disappear suddendly and give way to 25 degrees and beautiful sun. Unbelieveable. And so must have thought everyone else, you could feel the spirits lifting all across town and people streaming onto the streets. All I could think about for the next days was just how nice it was to see all of my neighbours again. I missed you all.

In collaboration with Centercom, the company renting the poster spaces out, I launched this campaign across 50 points in the Amsterdam Center. Thanks to them I could hang the posters for 3 weeks despite my limited budget.
